CITY COLLEGE OF SAN FRANCISCO |
|
This is a hybrid class, meaning that it meets both face-to-face and online. It fulfills the ESL 160 requirement,
but the class meets for half the hours of a regular ESL 160 class. The rest of the class work is done
online and on your own. This means that the successful student in ESL 160 online is a person who is well-organized,
hard-working, and self-disciplined. Deadlines
in an online class are very strict, and sometimes assignments that you don't do on time will no longer be available after
you miss the deadline, so you must do all of your work on time! The online portion of the class will be conducted using
a program called Insight. You will receive an Insight orientation in the lab at the second class
meeting.
The Fall 2009 ESL 160-831 class will be meeting every Thursday evening from 6:30 to 9:30. The first class meeting will be on August 20th. The lab orientation for the online portion of the class will be on August 27th. in Batmale 301 from 6:45 to 8:00 pm.
