Q: Where can can I order Keyboarding Pro for home use? 

A: You can order it from Amazon.com (least expensive; see this page) or from the publisher ($39.95 + about $7.50 shipping). To order from the publisher:

  1. Call Cengage Learning, the publisher, at 800 354-9706 between 6 am and 3 pm (Pacific Standard Time).
  2. Dial 9 to receive “further assistance.”
  3. Ask to buy Keyboarding Pro 4 Individual License/User Guide, 4th Edition, ISBN 0538728027

Q: I want to purchase Microsoft Office 2007. Where can I do so?

A: The City College student licensing program allows you to purchase Microsoft Office 2007 Professional for $84.98 at http://www.journeyed.com/fccc/   You need an Internet connection in order to activate the software. There is also a Microsoft site called "Ultimate Steal" which allows students to buy Office Ultimate for $59.95. Click this link. Also,  educational copies of MS Office are available in the CCSF bookstore. The software is identical no matter where you buy it.

Q: Is there a free trial of Office?

A: Yes, you can try different versions for at this link.  Be prepared for a very large download, though.
