Pre-instruction Drawing:  Your Home
Draw the front of your house
Four Upside Down Drawings (handouts)   Draw the handouts upside down
 Blind Drawings Draw 80% Blind:

Blind Drawings Draw 100% Blind:
Your Eyes
Your Eyes, Nose, Mouth

Viewfinder Drawings
All drawings should use the Viewfinder and plastic sheet to trace your hand, object, and flower.  Then transfer your drawings to a paper with middle tone gray applied with pencil.  Erase pencil tone to create highlights and outside shape of hand.
Draw per classroom instructions in pencil tone and line:
Your Hand (in-class exercise)
Your Hand holding small object (homework)
A Flower
   
Viewfinder Drawings: 
Positive & Negative Space
Draw with pencil tone and line drawing:
Two Chairs (that have a structure)
Tree with branches
All three drawings should have pencil tone as a background and line as a foreground.  Have the drawing touch the edges of the Viewfinder frame.

One Point Perspective
Draw two LINE drawings using the viewfinder that are one point perspectives:
One Drawing of your Hallway or Corridor.
One Drawing of your Bedroom (one corner at one point)

ALSO:  Bring Gray Felt Tip Markers, Light, Medium, Dark, and Black "Sharpie" Markers, and 5 X 8 White Index Cards to next class. 

Draw a two point perspectcive line drawing of:
Edna Street House 
Draw a two point perspective line drawing of:
A house 
Draw one LINE and/or TONE drawing from the story "The Storm"
One Point Interior Perspective

ALSO:  Bring 5 to 10 images of a house for the Final Drawing Project.

FINAL DRAWING ASSIGNMENT
Draw four drawings of ONE house chosen from the 5 to 10 images.  Images should have strong shades and shadows and various tonal values.  The drawings  should be drawn as:
1.  LINE DRAWING ONLY
2.  LINE AND PENCIL TONE
3.  BLACK and WHITE (felt tip pen)
4.  PENCIL TONE ONLY (no line)
