  Recommended Textbook:

There is no required textbook for this course.

The recommended textbook for this course is - JavaScript: The Definitive Guide, David Flanagan, O'Reilly, 6th edition, 978-0-596-80552-4. This book is oriented to students who have moderate to advanced programming skills.

Students with little or no programming skills should consider getting one of the following books:

1. Javascript, 5th Edtion, by Don Gosselin, Course Technology/Cengage Learning, ISBN 0-538-74887-7.

2. Javascript: Concepts & Techniques; Programming Interactive Web Sites, by Tina McDuffie, Franklin, Beedle, & Associates, Inc., ISBN 1-887902-69-4.

3. Internet & the World Wide Web (How to Program), 4th edition, by Deitel, Prentice Hall, ISBN 0-13-175242-1.

Note: These three books give more detailed examples and explanations than the Flanagan book, but the Flanagan book is more comprehensive concerning JavaScript.

  Grading:

An "After Completion Report" is to be posted after every Homework Assignment. These reports comprise 5% of your final grade.
