If this is a hybrid, I believe that it is mostly Ladder-backed. I disagree with the assessment of the amount of white on the face. The supercilium and the maler white areas to me look too white for typical Nuttall's and good for Ladder-backed. The breast perhaps should be less white and more buffy on Ladder-backed, but in this pose, we really can't see it very well. Also what we can see in that area appears to have black stripes, not spots, which would support Ladder-backed. --Gary
