Summer adult Glaucous-winged Gull all the way.
The overall bulk of the bird seems better for
Glaucous and Gl-W than for Iceland. The eye appears
dark, but this could be the effect of the photo.
The clincher for me is the shade of gray on the back,
which contrasts rather strongly with the white areas.
This is good for Gl-W but much too dark gray for Gl or
Iceland. The bill, although foreshortened in the
photo, seems to have a bulge near the tip. It is
surely too big for Iceland. I have no problem with
the white primary tips and, indeed, the white bands
on the coverts are typical of summer moulting birds,
when faded pure white primaries on Gl-W Gulls are
rather common.
