I think the bird on the left is a Bewick's Wren. The facial pattern looks right, with the supercilium arcing up over the eye and down to the bill. The facial pattern doesn't seem that well-defined, but perhaps this is a juvenile. The gray tone of the underparts is perfect, the posture is crouched, and the overall shape of the bird seems to be wren-like. Also, the tail is the right width, and is held with the outer retrices lower than the middle (drooping on the edges) which seems to be a Bewick's thing. I think there's a hint of the undertail pattern visible, also.
I'd have to say Mac for the bird on the right. I think the contrast between the dark band on the lower throat and the clean, bright yellow upper breast might be beyond the range of Orange-crowned. It does look like there might be some streaking on the sides, but I think that might just be the flash creating shadows behind ruffled feathers. I've also never seen an Orange-crowned with such a well-defined pale chin patch contrasting with the band on the lower throat, or such wide eye-arcs.
