Anna Mills has taught English at City College of San Francisco for three semesters.  She tutored all levels of English in the Writing Success Project and the DSPS Strategies Lab for four years before that.  She holds an MFA in Writing and Literature from Bennington College.  Her speciality is nonfiction writing, and her essays have appeared or are forthcoming in The Writer's Chronicle, Salmagundi, North Dakota Quarterly, Cimarron Review, and the anthology Fresh Water: Women Writing on the Great Lakes,  She maintains a literary blog, Anna Mills on Nature Writing.
