Read the following:

Think about how Gore’s version differs from The Rough Guide to Climate Change.  Is there anything Gore left out on the subject?  Is there anything he got wrong or partly wrong? 

2  Read  pages 150-162 and “Tone and Ethical Appeal,” pages 168-169 in Chapter 8 of A Short Guide to College Writing, “Persuading Readers.” 

3. Read the following websites about the concepts of Ethos, Logos, and Pathos:
