Armstrong’s leadership extends to San Francisco’s non-profit arena. She is on San Francisco State University’s Hospitality Management Advisory Board. Former co-chair of the Urban Outreach Committee of the Recording Academy (a.k.a. The Grammys) and has previously served on the Board of Governors with the Recording Academy. She was an inaugural member of KQED’s Community Advisory Panel.
