General Course Description

Sociology 1 is an introductory course into the study of social life, social change, and the social causes and consequences of human behavior. The course is designed to assist you in developing an awareness of the scientific understanding of the structure of groups, organizations, and societies, and to enhance your ability to investigate how people interact within these contexts and construct reasons for their behavior.
