The orientation is OPTIONAL, but I strongly recommend that you attend, especially if you are new to online courses.

 

When: 

Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Where: 
City College of San Francisco, on the Ocean Campus, 50 Frida Kahlo Way.

How to get there: 

Nearby MUNI routes include: the 43, 36, 29, 15, 54, M, and K. Nearest BART station is Balboa Park.

This orientation will give an overview of:

                      • how to log in to your online course using Canvas
                      • navigating Canvas
                      • the course content
                      • the weekly assignments
                      • submitting homework
                      • taking a test
                      • installing and using MyLab, which is our Microsoft Office 2019 simulation program
                      • asking questions and "talking" with your classmates online
                      • what will be expected of you as an online student

                  Time will be set aside for your questions and we will all have a chance to meet each other.
