Fall 2008: Syllabus
City College uses WebCT, an interactive courseware for online courses. After you register for this class, you should email me, Beth Cataldo, at bcataldo@ccsf.edu with IDST 130 and your name on the subject line. The deadline for emailing me is noon August 18, 2008. There will be a mandatory face-to-face orientation for this class on Tuesday, August 19 from 6:30pm-8:00pm on the Ocean Campus in room ARTX 264. I highly recommend that you come to this orientation if you haven't taken an online course at City College before. After you email me, I will send your logon and password to access the online class site in August. Instructions for the first week will be available after Monday, August 18.

What to do After Registering
The course will begin on August 18, when the first week of course material will be released for registered students. There are only a few things that you need to be concerned with before the semester begins: emailing me and obtaining a copy of the textbook and access to the software. Textbook and software information can be found on the Syllabus page linked above.
