Professional Association Involvement and Personal Interests

I am a member and active in the following professional associations:

• Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) - have been a member of the "National Institute for Information Literacy Executive Committee " Instruction Section Board; chair and/or member of several committees;

• California Academic and Research Libraries Association (CARL) - have served on the Conference Planning Commitee; currently serve on the Research Award Committee and as the CCSF campus liaison

City College governance involves me as a member of the College Curriculum Committee and Onliners Group. I also have served on the Academic Policies Committee and Teaching and Learning Technology Roundtable (TLTR).

Personal interests are many: folk dancing, ballroom dancing (especially tango), camping, hiking, tennis, reading, cello, piano and singing.
