Office Information Processing 
               Microcomputer Business Applications

The Office Information Processing credit computer studies program is designed for students working or planning to work in office-support positions in industry and government. Students learn the computer skills needed to succeed in a challenging office environment. Areas of emphasis include word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Computer Classes are taught "hands-on" in computer labs. Students can select a program leading to an Associate in Arts degree or a certificate program that requires 25 units.

Students who complete this curriculum satisfactorily are qualified for positions in private industry and civil service as word processors, secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and general office workers.
