Required Textbook

Invitation to Oceanography (2nd ed.) by Paul Pinet

Attendance

Students will be dropped from the course after missing four lectures or 2 labs. Arriving to class late or leaving early will be penalized as an absence.

Grading

Lecture: 2 exams @ 50 points each. Lab: 10 points for each weekly assignment. The grading scale is: A = 90-100%, B = 80-89%, C = 70-79%, D = 60-69%, and F = below 60%.
