Some basic commands for the MOO français:

(from the MOO français)

(Do not type the * or [ ] symbols.)

Communication:

dis [text] Prints specified text to the display of each player in the current room ( a.k.a "say " ). Note: The quote character ["] can be substituted as an abbreviation for the "dis" command.

pagine [player] [text] Prints specified text to the display of selected player regardless of that player's location in the MOO (a.k.a. "page [player] [text]" ).

wh*isper [text] to [player] Prints specified text to the display of selected character only.

emote [text] Prints specified text to the display of each player in the current room, in a manner reminiscent of non-verbal communication. Note: The colon ":" can be substituted as an abbreviation for the "emote" command.

journal Prints the FrenchMOO newspaper, Le MOOnde, to the user's display

Movement:

regarde Obvious exits from rooms are revealed with the "regarde" command. To move in the direction indicated by an exit, simply type the exit name and press enter. Usually the name of an exit can be abbreviated to its first character; e.g., Nord = n, Sud = s, etc. Others, such as "en bas" and "en haut" can usually be activated by typing "b" and "h" respectively.

rentre Returns a player to home. For newbies, this is the Chatelet ( a.k.a "home" ).

@va [location] Moves player to the specified location ( a.k.a "@go [location]" ).

@re*joinds [player] Moves player to location of specified other ( a.k.a "@join [player]" ).

@centre Returns player to the Visitor Center ( a.k.a @center ).

@quit*te Disconnect player ( yourself ) from the MOO. ( a.k.a "@quit" )

@gare Moves player to the train station serving player's current city; e.g., Paris, Monpellier, Grenoble, etc.

Information:

commandes Prints a listing of the very most basic MOO commands to the user's display ( a.k.a "comm" ).

aide Prints the first page of the MOO's help system to the user's display ( a.k.a "help" ).

@qui Prints a list of connected players to the user's display ( a.k.a "@who" ).

@qui+ Shows who, among connected players, is a wizard or a programmer.

r*egarde Gives descriptive information about the player's location. Players may type "regarde" or "r" ( a.k.a "look" ).

r*egarde [object] Gives descriptive information about the the object specified ( a.k.a "look " ).

exam*ine [object] More comprehensive than "regarde" -- prints also the name of the object's owner and a list of verbes defined on the object. When trying to figure out how to use something in the MOO, use "regarde" first and then "examine".

@aujourd'hui Prints a list of players who have connected to the MOO within the last 24 hours.

@interets [player name] Prints information about selected player's interests to the user's display. Use "@notedit me.interets_msg" to set the text of your interets property. Instructions on using @notedit are on the MOO Manual in the admin bldg at la Defense ( @va la defense ).

@wizards [list] Shows connected FrenchMOO wizards, if any are online. The optional 'list' argument will show a list of all FrenchMOO wizards.

@argent Prints player's current La Banque de France account balance to the user's display.

@taxis Prints the location(s) of the/all FrenchMOO taxi(s) with inservce and vacancy status information.
