ORIENTATION/FIRST NIGHT AND ADDING

PLEASE NOTE: If you are registered and do not show the first class meeting you will be dropped.

Orientation: Our orientation for this course will take place on our first Wednesday night class meeting at Everette Middle School.

First Class:

Classroom section: Students need not come to first class with any materials. On our first night I will do attendance, collect all email addresses, talk about the online section and what to expect in each class meeting, show you all materials and the text book. Students who are enrolled in the class will be expected to purchase the textbook and the first five items on the materials list by the second class meeting.

Online section: Registered students will receive their log on ID and password from me in an email a week before classes begin.

Adding: If the class is reregistered full and you would like to add, come to the first class meeting. Adds are done by following the earliest preregistration day and time. You must have your CCSF preregistration slip with you in order to receive an add code. If you are yet not admitted to CCSF you will be on the add list after the students with preregistration times.

Special Arrangements: Students who need academic accommodations should request them from the Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) located in the Rosenberg Library, Room 323 on the Ocean Campus. Telephone: 415-452-5481 (V) 415-452-5451 (TDD).

DSPS is the campus office responsible for verifying disability-related need for academic accommodations, assessing that need, and planning accommodations in cooperation with students and instructors as needed and consistent with course requirements.
