BIOGRAPHY

Welcome to City College Biology!  If you are new to City, you may not realize what an excellent science education you can get here, dirt cheap!    Work hard at City College, and you will find yourself prepared for successful transfer to a prestigious 4-year university, or a worthwhile, interesting, well-paying job in biotech, research, or healthcare.

Look at the faculty list in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.  In Biology you'll find extremely qualified, award-winning instructors from a wide diversity of Biology subfields.  In Chemistry, you'll find instructors that earned PhDs from Berkeley, Stanford, and Harvard- and you can talk to them, rather than barely hearing them from up in the nosebleed section of the big university lecture hall.  If you take Physics classes, you'll learn from instructors who have written revolutionary textbooks which have not only been used across the nation for decades, but have actually changed the way the subject is taught.  Needless to say, I'm very proud to be teaching here, and I'm here to challenge you to learn, to be successful, and to achieve whatever it is you're here to achieve.
