DANNY VO

MS in Mathematics, Washington State University, 1999.

I have taught a wide range of community college mathematics courses from beginning courses such as Math E, Elementary Algebra and Intermediate Algebra to upper-level courses such as Calculus, Statistics and Linear Algebra.
I feel quite fortunate to be a professor in such a diverse community as the Bay Area, especially at CCSF since my students are diverse in age and ethnic background as well as representing groups of varying sexual orientations and various learning and physical abilities.

I have dedicated myself to my career and my students and I always go the extra mile to help my students, particularly if they have challenges in learning math due to disabilities, difficulties due to their backgrounds such as ESL or weak backgrounds in math.

After every class, I do not feel that it is a victory for me to have given a great lecture, but rather I delight in seeing my students understand the material.

In my free time, I love snowboarding, biking, playing guitar and enjoying time with friends and family.
