Baja Adventure!!

Return

Baja is a jewel of the remaining wild peninsulas. Thank God that in the 1812 war with Mexico we did'n get it. If we did we would have an other Florida on our hand. Bad roads seem to help to keep the place as it is a pristine high desert with a few oasis.

Things we missed: This was our 3rd trip to Baja, but Baja is not a place to visit only once. so we?l probably be coming back. At that time I? like to vist Agua Caliente in the mountains and the San Jos?Mission at Loreto.
Opinion: To see the cave paintings and the whales, it is almost mendatory, but as with any ?rip,?objectively, when you visit a place, nothing really happens. Subjectivelly however, we meet the existential symbol for the reality beyond time and space(the unknown), and it changes us. Every trip I take is in fact a search for that other reality. D?ckheim thinks that to seek out faraway places is the searh for unity. That ,I don? know about.
Recommendations: Pre-historic cave paintings, Whale watching
