A small colony of these champion long-distance migrants were nesting in a vacant lot near the dock. This species is famous for its annual migration from the Arctic to the Antarctic and back. Note short bill, narrow dark primary tips and long shaft streak on p10 with white outer web extending to the tip. Canon PowerShot SX50 HS.
