Chalk-browed Mockingbird (Mimus saturninus modulator) 18 February 2015. Ceibas, Entre Ríos, Argentina

The dark eye and streaks on the chest indicate this is a juvenile. This is one of the largest of the Mockingbirds; common in open country often seen foraging on the ground. Four subspecies are currently recognized. This is the southern M. s. modulator which is unstreaked on the flanks and has more black on the crown.
