Fork-tailed Flycatcher (Tyrannus savana savana) 18 February 2015. Ceibas, Entre Ríos, Argentina



Both sexes have a semi-concealed yellow crown patch, visible here during a drenching rainstorm. Three subspecies are recognized. This is the southernmost highly migratory nominate race characterized by darker mantle and less distinct white collar.
