Common Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs) This European native species was introduced from Great Britain into Cape Town in 1898 by Cecil. J. Rhodes. The Chaffinch is established locally on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain where it remains uncommon. Canon PowerShot SX50 HS
