Torrent Tyrannulet (Serpophaga cinerea grisea)
29 January 2009, Savegre Mountain Hotel, San Gerardo de Dota, Costa Rica
Two Torrent Tyrannulets kept disappearing into a moss covered embankment
where I suspect they may have been nesting. However, my books describe the
nest as being a cup built on branch overhanging the water. I suppose it's
possible they may have just been foraging within the embankment. I'm not
sure.
The birds often sat briefly on this overhanging branch after emerging from
the embankment.
In response to Hans's suggestion for more exif info:

but I don't have any control over such things when digiscoping. I just
shoot first and ask questions later.
