Hermit Thrush (Catharus guttatus guttatus)
This usually shy species was singing from the top of a distant tall tree. This is the nominate race which breeds in southern Alaska and western Canada. It is part of a group of subspecies characterized by small size, gray flanks, and contrasting brown upperparts. Canon PowerShot SX50 HS.
