Semipalmated Plover (Charadrius semipalmatus)
This is an adult male. Note the largely black, not brown cheeks. Note that the black on the face meets above the gape. This may help distinguish it from the almost identical Common Ringed Plover. Canon PowerShot SX50 HS.
