We found this Sea Star lying in the snow at least 50 meters from the Ocean. I suspect it may have been dropped by a gull or other predator unable to swallow it. I have often seen Glaucous-winged Gulls with Sea Stars in their bill unable to decide how to proceed. Canon PowerShot SX60
