I returned to Hermit Rock this morning hoping for better views of the the continuing Parakeet Auklet found by Rudyard
Wallen on 16 July and seen about every other day. This morning the bird appeared to be exploring crevices on Hermit
Rock, perhaps prospecting for a nest site. Digiscoped with Panasonic DMC-LX5 | Nikon FS 3 | 30XWA | hand-held,
no adapter.
