Silver-beaked Tanager (Ramphocelus carbo carbo)
Overall color varies with subspecies. This is the dark nominate race where the male often looks all black from a distance. This is a female whose plumage is decidedly paler and more obviously red compared to the male. These birds were fairly common along the rivers. Canon PowerShot SX60 HS.
