Gray-capped Flycatcher (Myiozetetes granadensis obscurior) 13 June 2019. Rio Ucayali--Supay Creek,
Peru
![]() Note the shaggy rear crown and nape. I thought this bird looked a little different when I spotted it high on a tall snag, but we passed it off as just another Tropical Kingbird. However after examining this photo, Paul Donahue pointed out that the short, slightly curved bill and pale forehead are indicative of Gray-capped Flycatcher instead. Canon PowerShot SX60 HS.
