Yellow-crowned Brush-tailed Rat (Isothrix bistriata)
This is a nocturnal and usually arboreal species endemic to Western Amazonia. Very little is know of its habits. We were lucky to see it blending into the background in a tree cavity. They are said to prefer floodplane forest habitat but also grassland. Canon PowerShot SX60 HS.
