Speckle-fronted Weaver (Sporopipes frontalis emini) - 9 July 2013. Olduvai Gorge Site Museum, Arusha Region, Tanzania.

This distinctive sparrow-like weaver was locally common where water was available, but distribution was otherwise rather patchy. Its name derives from the white speckles on its black forehead.
