Not identified in the field at the time. Opinions remain sharply divided among the following four suggestions:
- Southern Grosbeak-Canary Serinus buchanani
- Brimstone Canary Serinus sulphuratus sharpii
- White-bellied Canary Serinus dorsostriatus dorsostriatus
- Weaver sp. Ploceus sp.
The bird on the right in the middle photo is a White-bellied Canary (Serinus dorsostriatus) which was
common in the area. Any help identifying this mystery bird would be much appreciated.
