![]() ![]() At the southern limit of its range, this puffin is molting out of breeding plumage. In particular the spectacular curly blond tufts are starting to molt. The bright parrot-like bill is composed of multiple plates that facilitate carrying multiple fish to their young. At sea, Tufted Puffins forage on squid, euphausiids, and pelagic fish.
