Philippine Ground Orchid (Spathoglottis plicata)
Spathoglottis means "spatulate tongue" for the shape of the labellum (central petal). The English name is a bit of a misnomer as this attractive species is widespread throughout southern Asia and Australasia. It is widely cultivated and has become naturalized in Florida and Hawaii where it is classified as a "weed." Canon PowerShot SX60.
