![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The smallest and most agile of the Boobies, this is a light morph adult showing diagnostic dark carpal patches on its underwings.. This species is reported to have the largest eyes of any booby, possibly an adaptation for nocturnal feeding. Rarely seen from shore, birds in the Indian Ocean and Western Pacific are the larger, white-tailed race rubripes. Canon PowerShot SX60 HS.
