White-collared Seedeater (Sporophila torqueola morelleti) 26 January 2011, Crooked Tree Village, Belize District, Belize.

This male White-collared Seedeater looks like he is a survivor from a tough life and hard living. He sports a chonmage (samurai ponytail) on his head, and he is missing half his tail.
