Howdy all:

I agree with most respondents that the primary projection is way too long for any of the small peeps (Least, Long-toed, Semi, and Western) and immediately jumped to the Pec/Sharp-tail combo. I disagree with one respondent that said that there was nothing with which to compare size - there is - the grass. If the bird in question was a small peep (despite the long primaries), then I believe that the grass wouldn't look so narrow and short. So, I go with all those before me that decided on Pectoral for all of their reasons. And this bird is a VERY FRESH juvenile.
