I have an exotic looking nest in my yard. It is made of what appears to be thin, long strips of palm frawn. It is delicately woven into a "two room" nest that hangs, suspended like a cradle, in the leaf of a giant bird of paradise. About 10 thin strips of the nesting material are "tied" into the rough edges and splits in the leaf. From the bottom of the nest hang about 40 very thin strips that are about 24" - 36" long. The over all size is about 10" and the depth is about 6" with a small opening between the leaf and the top of the nest.
Can any tell me what this is?
It's absolutely beautiful!
I've never seen anything come or go from the nest
