Right now, I'm agreeing with Gary that all 3 birds are Greater Scaup. As further evidence for the female in the upper picture I would cite Nat. Geo. 3rd ed.:
"Some female Greater Scaup, especially in spring and summer, have a paler head with a distinct whitish ear patch."
