This warbler looks similar to a first-year female Hooded Warbler I found last spring. The pale legs, dark bill and beady eye, the shape of the yellow face with greenish hood, and the dusky lores are good. The rump possibly being a brighter yellow than the greenish back and wings looks bad, though, and may point towards something I'm missing. The tail appears sufficiently closed to hide any white markings. About the gull: yikes! I'll just take my seat to watch the gull debate.
