This looks like a Ladder-backed Woodpecker. The extensive barring on the white outer web of the rectrices, and the rather wide white facial marks are good for Ladder-backed. The extent of black on the upper back seems to favor Nuttall's, but I think that it is within the range of variability for Ladder-backed. Could I please hear it call? --Gary
