Hello.I echo others comments that the bird is quite evidently a Common.The long triangular bill and head shape,with some slope to the forehead and lack of a strong "maned" look,do not remind me of Barrow's.As a further,the dull yellowish tip to the bill,with a slight projection of black on the side of the culmen is comparable to many of the first alternate female Commons we get at the west end of Lake Ontario in winter.My question for experienced Barrow's observers is what is the bill pattern of young female Barrow's? Commons can range from all-black to (rarely) entirely dull pinkish orange.
