Hi folks! Sorry to be so late with an update. I'm heading away for a week in the Midwest birding and thought I shouldn't keep the suspense any longer. It is a Hutton's Vireo. The break in the eyering above the eye is diagnostic. Gray Vireo has a more complete eyering I think. I don't know what to make of the streaks on the flanks. Maybe it's wet with bathing.

I'll try to post a proper "answer" sometime when I get back.

Unless somebody has a nice mystery photo they'd like me to post, I'll probably let this feature go on hiatus for the summer.
