As a follow up to my just posted "answers" to October's quiz:
Looking more and more at the wren-like left bird, I am less and less convinced that it is a Bewick's. I can not explain why the supercilium is not more apparent or why the lower eye arc is so bold. The tail shape and pattern certainly seems to fit Bewick's, but I could almost see a Cal Gnatcatcher showing such a tail pattern. Hmmmmm. I am going to just shrug my shoulders at this bird for the time being.
