Student Learning Objectives

 

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

      • Demonstrate the ability to define and explain the basic terminology and use the concepts of physiology.
      • Demonstrate the ability to use and diagram the biochemical, anatomical and physical processes underlying the physiology of the human body.
      • Demonstrate an understanding of the way in which the mechanisms of normal physiology change in situations of disease, trauma or degeneration.
      • Demonstrate the ability to use the basic laboratory skills and techniques and formulate procedures of elementary physiology.

      How to View the Class Material

      Much of the material in this website can only be viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader which can be downloaded for free by clicking on Useful Downloads and clicking the Adobe button there.

      If you do not have Powerpoint installed on your computer you can still view the slides in Powerpoint format. Click on Useful Downloads and then click the link that looks like a slide projector. You will be taken to a site that will allow you to download Powerpoint Viewer, a free download, check it out.
