This project was developed by the CCSF Earth Sciences Department based on materials obtained from the California Academy of Sciences (their old Life Through Time exhibit). It has the support of the Dean and Department Chairs of the School of Science and Mathematics, the Chancellor, and the Board of Trustees of City College.

The transfer of the large display pieces from the Academy of Sciences to City College in late August 2004 was made possible by support from then Vice Chancellor Don Griffin and was coordinated by Dean Terrance Hall with assistance from Virginia Jew, John Shima and Jim Keenan.
Temporary storage space (which lasted amost 4 years!) for several of the largest specimens was made available by Fabio Saniee and the Department of Engineering and Technology.
Finding funding for installation of our Big Fish (Xiphactinus) possible thanks to Peter Goldstein and Julia Bergman. Project management and architectural guidance provided by Caroline SooHoo. Installation provided by Gizmo Productions.

Graphics assistance for City College-prepared panels and content was provided by students and instructors of the GRPH 68 "Prepress Production Laboratory" class here at CCSF, including Colin Hall, Lorraine Leber, and John Seckman.
