Lecture 18                    Popular contemporary music genres will be discussed and individual projects will be formulated. Each person will research a piece of music reflecting a genre, group, artist, composer or song. Using that piece of music the student will then answer appropriate musical questions regarding their chosen work. The paper should be three pages long, excluding a lyrics page and will be due within a three-week period.
